Expect outdoor activities like hiking, sleeping in nature, survival experiences, beach sports, self-development workshops, opening up and connecting with others through dynamics, debates, adventure, some crazy ideas, and lots of amazing vibes!

Participants
The project brings together 42 young people from 6 different countries, with 7 people per country: 6 participants aged 18-30 and 1 team leader with no age limit from each country.
Are you from one of these countries and highly motivated about outdoor activities, nature, discovering new cultures, and sharing yours? Then, this is your project!

Where will it take place?
The project will take place in Asturias, the north of Spain. We will be surrounding by mountains and the sea, near the National Park of Picos de Europa and the Cantabrian Sea, sound like... paradise?
We will stay at the 'Albergue Palacio de la Teyeria' in Mestas de Con, Asturias. We will be staying in shared rooms, and we will also have outdoor stays in vivac/camping, along with many adventures. Don't expect high comfort and summer holidays not doing anything: we are here to value the real things in life, be grateful for what we receive, and have a meaningful experience. If you're not up for this, then this is not your project, here we go wild!
What to bring?
It is necesary and IMPORTANT to have clothes for hiking, remember to bring: hiking boots, sleeping bag, raincoat, confortable clothes, backpack, towel, swimwear, reusable water bottle.
Each national team needs to bring one laptop. And don’t forget about our cultural nights! Each team will get to show off their country with a creative presentation and share generously prepared dishes that represent their culture.
Mobile phones will be banned during the first few days of the project. Don't worry – halfway through, you’ll get your phone back to snap all those epic memories (if you're lucky).
We’re all about commitment – a 100% commitment, in fact. You’ll need to be present through every stage: preparation, implementation, and of course, the grand finale – the dissemination. Ready to give it your all?

Mood
This is gonna be amazing! Get ready to be active, soak up the nature vibes, dive into workshops, and bring all the energy and passion to share, learn, and teach. It's going to be a blast!
Physical effort
This itinerary has an INTERMEDIATE level of physical effort.
Expect different mountain routes through the stunning natural parks of Asturias, around 15 - 20 km long with a 900 m elevation gain. Ready to conquer it?
Meeting Point
Oviedo, Asturias, Spain. You can arrive from the 3th of september and leave from the 17th in order to take more advantage of the cultural experience in this amazing land.
Debate and workshop
Our goal is to dive into non-formal education and explore the importance of living a healthy and eco-friendly lifestyle. Get ready to share ideas, fuel each other’s motivation, and have some lively debates!

How to arrive?
We will start the project in Oviedo, Asturias and it will finish in the same place:

Take in consideration that we will meet at this time, so in case you need to take a flight you need extra time for arriving to the airport, check properly the timing.
No airplanes are allow for spanish or portuguese participants, only green transport like bus, train or carpooling.
Project costs
Accomodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, activities and the transportation to them it is all cover by the project. Travel expenses are cover up to a certain amount depending of the origin (more information in the next slide). Other costs are at your own expense.

Health insurance is requiere for the days in which the project is implemented.
How to participate?
At Proactive Future, we've carried out many projects like this one, and although some of our partners have changed due to the National Agency, we're excited to invite new people to experience this journey. We’d love to have all of you with us, but unfortunately, that's not possible. So, go ahead and write an amazing motivational letter for your partner organization, and best of luck!
